The collaboration between Leo and Adrian was born out of a mutual appreciation for artistry and craftsmanship. Upon moving to the Isle of Wight to pursue a career as a professional jeweller, Leo sought to embrace the local culture by learning to surf, a journey that led him to purchase a surfboard from Adrian. Intrigued by Adrian's meticulous hand-painted designs on the surfboard, Leo enquired, and this artist-to-artist exchange lead to the creation of the tattoo machine pendant.

Throughout his career as an artist, Adrian had encountered numerous machine pendants, yet none had captured the precision or scale he required. Motivated by this gap, Adrian and Leo set out to craft a pendant. Their vision was clear: to create a machine pendant that tattoo artists worldwide would be proud to wear. This ambition laid the foundation for their idea, aspiring to celebrate the art of tattooing through jewellery craftsmanship.
